History

In the Fall of 1955 North Marsh High School was created by merging Arimo High School with Downey and McCammon and construction on the current Marsh Valley High School was started.  The first graduating class from the consolidated Marsh Valley School District was the class of 1956. Prior to that year, there were 5 schools in Marsh Valley:  
  • Arimo; educating Arimo, Hawkins Basin, Hertisville, Marsh Center and Robin
  • Downey; educating Downey, Swan Lake and Virginia
  • Inkom; eduating Inkom to the Portneuf gap
  • Lava; educating Lava to the Caribou County line
  • McCammon; educating McCammon and Readyville
