Oct.21: Tomorrow is the last day of the first quarter. That means one more day to meet AR goals. Hopefully, all is going well in that area & you are having fun reading with your kids. I see most of them in the library everyday. I just bought (at the request of a 5th grader) the Percy Jackson series. These books are quite popular. I also have a fun series, called Fablehaven. I usually don't read fantasy books, but I have really enjoyed this series. The younger kids love to read animal books and the Magic Tree House series is always a hit. One of the best parts of my job is seeing a reluctant reader find a book that they really loved. There are so many great books out there!!!
