This notice is to inform the public that Marsh Valley School District #21 Special Education Department is preparing to destroy special education records for students receiving special education services, in our district, from 2017 through 2019.  The records will be destroyed after August 1, 2026.

If you would like to pick up your special education record, please contact our office at 2018-254-3306.  If you do not want your special education records, you do not need to do anything as the record will be destroyed after August 1, 2026.

Please not that these records will only be released to the adult student, unless legal guardianship documentation is presented to prove otherwise.

Records retention, destruction, and this notice are in compliance with Marsh Valley Shool District Board Policy 8605.
