Board Meeting Information

Board Meetings open sessions are conducted electronically. Meeting link/call in information will be posted on the agenda. The meeting agenda will be posted on this page at least 48 hours before the meeting scheduled start time.

Monthly board meetings are held the second Monday of each month

Public participation in Board Meeting is allowed provided the guidelines outlined in Marsh Valley School District #21 Policy #4105 Community Relations are observed and followed. "Request to Address the Board" forms will be available at each meeting or can be obtained by email request to the Board Clerk at boardclerk@mvsd21.org

Guidelines include (but are not limited to):

  • Public participation must be conducted in person. Zoom meeting attendees will be muted during the board meeting and unable to participate electronically.

  • Total time allotted for public comment will not exceed 15 minutes.

  • Each speaker will be limited to 3 minutes.

  • Public comment will be taken on matters scheduled on the agenda for that meeting.

  • Written comments will be distributed to the board prior to the beginning of the meeting.

  • The Chair may deny an individual the opportunity to address the Board if the individual has previously addressed the Board on the same subject within the past two months.

  • Because of the diversity of issues, members of the board will not respond to a public comment. Instead, issues may be recorded and referred to the proper staff person for follow-up.

  • The chair may interrupt or terminate an individual's statement when it is too lengthy, personally directed, abusive, obscene, repetitive or irrelevant.

  • The Board as a whole shall have the final decision in determining the appropriateness of all such rulings.
