2023-24 School Year Wins
Wonders/StudySync Curriculum: Introduced two new reading curriculums for grades K-8 Wonders and StudySync. Both are evidence-based curricula and are grounded in the science of reading. Wonders grades K-5 and StudySync grades 6-8.
GEER/EANS Funding Grant: Received the GEER / EANS Funding Grant grant for over $45,000 dollars worth of early interventions materials which will supplement our current reading programs with professional development additional phonological awareness, phonics instructional & sight words materials for grades k-2.
Literacy Intervention Grant: Received Literacy Intervention Grant of $45,000 dollars worth of k-2 phonemic and foundation instructional materials.
Curriculum Review: By beginning to unify the curriculum materials used by the district at each school we were able to renegotiate purchasing agreements and software licenses saving the District over $90,000 dollars.
Secure Our Futures Grant: Received $120,000 dollars from the Secure our Futures Grant. These funds will be used to fix building communications and security equipment.
Career Ready Student Program Grant: Received $5374 for a new lift in the HS Auto shop.
Career Ready Students Program Grant: Received a second SOF grant for new welders in the HS Agriculture Shop $32,167.
District Office Staff Collectively recovered over $500,000 from addressing past recertification and coding errors.
PROGRAM QUALITY INITIATIVE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE GRANT: Received $25,973 for Auto Shop curriculum upgrades and expansions for the electronics module.
